There might be a few slight imperfections here and there, depending on one's taste & scrutiny, but I have binged through each book, wanting to know how it would all come together while simultaneously not wanting it to be over. One cannot read this book without reading the previous books, and, if you liked the previous books, you will most likely enjoy this one as well. ( Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2021 )

Their kias enable them to share emotions directly without verbalizing. Still greed and ambition can exist and lead to a struggle between and within kindred groups. Fenn works to free their imprisoned brother Keren. Will has to break free of the Frem prison. While Fenn seeks to hide Keren in the Delfland(England) Will helps them restore Keren’s mental health after their imprisonment by Malach. ( Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2021 )

• 5.0 out of 5 stars from mak -- GREAT ENDING : Before I start this review for “The Hunted and The Hind”, I want to make a point that I re-read and listened to the audio for book two “Shadows On The Border” of the “Lost In Time” trilogy. I want to praise Callum Hale, he did a tremendous narration of this novel. His dialect, accent and distinctive pronunciations was spot on. He gave each character their own voice and the emotions came through with each and every character. Something I also failed to mention the first time around was how clear AL Lester made the use of the pronouns: their, them, and they and she carriers their use throughout “The Hunted and the Hind”.
